Devon Triplett

Founder & Chairman

UNC Chapel Hill | Goldman Sachs

Passionate about economic mobility in BIPOC communities, Devon founded BTG as a first-semester freshman in college and continues to serve as the Co-Founder, and Chairman of the Board.

Devon recently graduated from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he studied Business Administration on a full academic scholarship. He previously summered at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Last summer, he interne at McKinsey and Company as a Summer Business Analyst, ultimately with the goal to develop the professional network, problem-solving and structured thinking skills needed to have a profound social impact.

Now full-time, Devon is a Partner at Phoenix Fund, a Venture Capital Firm investing in early-stage technology startups.

Eugenia Trakal

Chief Executive Officer

Arizona State University | Goldman Sachs

​​Eugenia is a rising senior at Arizona State University – Barrett, the Honors College pursuing Finance on a full-ride merit scholarship. She previously summered at Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst, and joined Vista Equity Partners her junior summer within tech private equity. Passionate about financial literacy, technology, and investing, Eugenia previously interned at Greycroft, New Enterprise Associates, and Bank of America.

On campus, she serves as the Executive Director for the Arizona Microcredit Initiative, Marketing Chair for the Association of Latino Professionals for America, Business Ambassador for the W.P. Carey School, and Concertmaster of the ASU Symphony.

In her free time, Eugenia loves playing tennis, practicing her violin, and watching futbol (vamos Argentina!).

Michael Massey

Co-Founder & Board Member

Stanford | Boston Consulting Group

Michael is an FGLI student and graduate from Stanford with a degree in MS&E. He co-founded Bridging the Gap (BTG), centered mostly on the financials side of the organization. Currently, he works as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in the Dallas office. He’ll be attending the Wharton School through the Moelis Deferred MBA program. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family, watching anime, and playing basketball and ultimate frisbee.

Saray Bedoya

Co-Founder & Board Member

Stanford | Boston Consulting Group

Saray is a co-founder of Bridging the Gap (BTG) and currently works as an Associate at Boston Consulting Group (BCG). She graduated from Stanford with a degree in International Relations, and is planning to attend Wharton’s Deferred MBA program in the next few years. She is super passionate about educational equity in low-income communities and in her free time enjoys spending time with family, painting, dancing bachata and roller skating.

Caleb Adams

Chief Operating Officer

Georgia Tech | Morgan Stanley

Caleb Adams is a sophomore from Atlanta, Georgia studying business administration at the Georgia Institute of Technology. An investor since the age of thirteen, he has a strong passion for finance and will be interning at Morgan Stanley in New York City as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in 2024. He is also the published author of the book, Teenage CFO. In his free time, Caleb enjoys playing golf, traveling, and trying new foods.

Juliano Perczek

VP of Member Success

Georgetown University | Business Scholars Institute

Juliano Perczek is a student at Georgetown University, majoring in Political Economy with a minor in Philosophy. His life has taken him through four cities and eight schools between the ages of 15 and 20, and he has competed at the highest level of youth soccer in the US. Juliano is also launching a mentorship company with some friends in late spring 2024, focused on transforming how students interact with alumni. He is dedicated to merging the worlds of business and government through public-private partnerships to create a positive impact. In his free time, Juliano enjoys playing soccer with friends, listening to house music, and watching Seinfeld.

Jake Fernandez

Jake Fernandez is a student at Florida International University majoring in Economics. He is passionate about social impact, investing, and empowering the Latinx community. He is someone who is committed to redefining success in the eyes of young Latinos keen on pursuing a career in finance. On campus, he maintains an active role within several finance organizations, where he spends his time helping and mentoring other students who are looking to break into the financial services industry. Following his freshman year, Jake will be interning at Evercore in their New York City office. Outside of work, he enjoys trying new foods, playing tennis, and listening to podcasts.

Salem Fitwi

VP of Fundraising

UPenn | Bank of America

Salem Fitwi is a student at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Born in Ethiopia and raised in Texas and Indiana, Salem uses English, Tigrinya, Amharic, Arabic, and Spanish to connect with and explore the world around him. He previously summered at Sumeru Equity Partners in Private Equity and will be interning in Investment Banking at Bank of America (Summer 2024) . Salem has a keen interest in investing, infrastructure, public impact, and sports. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball and soccer, listening to Drake, playing poker, and spending time with his friends and family.

Abby Vieira

Abby Vieira is a Junior at Williams College studying Economics with a concentration in Global Studies. 

On campus, Abby is co-founder and Vice President of Senior Citizen Tech Tutoring, board member of Williams Insight a financial publication, and co-president of Margins Finance, a mentorship program dedicated to accessibility and diversity within finance.

She has previously worked at the UN Environment Programme Finance Initiative, studying climate-related policies within the financial sector. This summer, she will be working in secondary investments at HarbourVest Partners. In her free time she loves to run, ski and test out new baking recipes.

Mason Goodwyn

Mason Goodwyn is a student at the Wake Forest University School of Business. Born in Virginia, Mason looks forward to working in management consulting in the DC area. He previously summered at Lockheed Martin, Deloitte, and Boston Consulting Group, and looks forward to returning to Boston Consulting Group (Summer 2024) as a Summer Associate. Outside of his career, Mason has a passion for content creation, where he has amassed over 8K+ subscribers and 1.3+ million views on his YouTube channel. In his free time, he enjoys making videos, watching college basketball, listening to Rap/R&B, and going out to dinner with friends.

Nathan Otchere

VP of Internal Relations

Nathan Otchere is a sophomore from Houston, Texas studying Finance and Statistics. He recently joined as part of BTG VI Cohort, where he’s worked towards fostering a community among all BTG members. In his free time, he loves to play soccer, fail at making music, and watch movies. This summer, Nathan will be working as a PE Deal Team Intern at Advent International.

Nick Sodano

UNC | Morgan Stanley

Nicholas Sodano is a finance and economics student at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Nicholas is passionate about investing, and will intern at Millennium Management as an Investment Analyst (Summer 2024). Next summer, he'll join Morgan Stanley’s Investment Banking Division. Nicholas, a former Tar Heels football player, is dedicated to promoting education equality. In his free time, he enjoys long-distance running, watching college football, and (learning how) to play golf.

Alec Zorrilla

Co-Head of BTG NeXus Fund

University of Miami | McKinsey & Company

Alec graduated from the University of Miami in 2023 (a semester early) with a degree in Business Technology and Philosophy, and is one of the founders of BTG’s NeXus Fund. He is currently a Business Analyst at McKinsey in the Miami office, having completed his sophomore summer at McKinsey and junior summer in IB at Centerview. Within the past few years, he has also spent time as a Business Operations Lead at VaultCraft (DeFi startup). In his free time, he enjoys hosting an NFT podcast and cooking.

Kana Cummings

Chief Strategy Officer

Stanford University | Boston Consulting Group

Kana is the former the COO at BTG. Now, she is an Associate Consultant at BCG based in the Chicago office, planning to attend Harvard Business School’s 2+2 program in the coming years. She graduated from Stanford with a degree in Sociology, Data Science and Mandarin Chinese. During her undergraduate years she served as the Financial Officer for Stanford Food Recovery, co-directed a fellowship promoting cultural inclusivity within the sustainable food movement, and worked as an intern at the Stanford Food Institute. She is super interested in anything spanning food sustainability, racial equity, and global citizenship and in her free time enjoys distance running, reading, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Cristian Carranza

Co-Head of BTG Finance

Cornell University | Goldman Sachs

Cristian is the Former Head & Co- Founder of BTG Finance, and now a Second-Year Private Equity Analyst within the Industrials Group at KKR. He spent his sophomore summer at Goldman Sachs IBD within the LevFin group and junior summer at KKR, both in NYC. He graduated from Cornell a semester early back in Dec 2022, then officially went full-time in Hudson Yards last February. In his free time, he enjoys lifting weights, playing poker, and going on spontaneous road trips with friends.

Lance Entsuah

VP of Community

University of Cincinnati | Boston Consulting Group

Lance is a graduate from the University of Cincinnati with a degree in Economics, double minoring in International Business and Entrepreneurship, and obtaining a certificate in Business Law and Ethics. As a 2025 Schwarzman Scholar, he will be moving to Beijing to study at Tsinghua University, the top university in China. He has a wide array of interests, ranging from business strategy, venture capital, tech/product management, and international business (focusing on the content of Africa).

On campus, Lance served as the VP of Bearcat Ventures, was a senior analyst for Queen City consulting, and mentored through Business Fellows.

Lance is currently a summer associate at Boston Consulting Group. 

Darren Francis

VP of Community

Vanderbilt University | Deloitte

Darren Francis is a Vanderbilt University graduate with a degree in Human & Organizational Development with a minor in Data Science.

As someone who is committed to redefining success in the eyes of young Black men in his hometown, New Orleans, and similar communities, he’s spent his time at Vanderbilt pursuing experiences that encourage growth as a leader and communicator.

On campus, Darren was a tour guide and the community service chair of the National Society of Black Engineers Vanderbilt chapter. He is currently a Government and Public Services Business Analyst at Deloitte Consulting.

Philena Sun

Co-Head of BTG Finance

Yale University | Goldman Sachs

Philena is a Yale graduate with a degree in Ethics, Politics & Economics, and Statistics & Data Science. Her interests span Web3, state formation, and classical piano.

On campus, she served as the president of Yale Alternative Investments, the president of a piano duet performance group, and competed with the Yale Fed Challenge team.

Philena has formerly interned in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and is a current private equity analyst at Blackstone. In her free time, you might spot Philena listening to a podcast, playing the piano, or trying out a new baking recipe.

Franck Temgoua

Co-Head of BTG NeXus Fund

Duke University | McKinsey & Company

Franck is a graduate from Duke University with a degree in computer science. Currently, he works at McKinsey and Company as a PE/PI summer financial consultant. As a first generation African-American, he enjoys developing interconnections between multiple industry sectors and cultures in the finance and art space.

On campus, Franck began his university experience starting a high growth streetwear company, and used his finance background from multiple fractional-CFO and PE companies for innovative resource manufacturing for garments and sustainable clothing. 

At BTG, he is involved in the startup of BTG’s first digital asset fund, and aids in creating BTG merchandise for members.

Ramon Pereira Bonilla

Chief Community Officer

Purdue University | McKinsey & Company

Ramon graduated from Valencia College and was BTG’s former Chief Community Officer. He is extremely passionate about leveraging local politics to meld controlled environment agriculture, affordable housing and education. Currently, he works as a Business Analyst at McKinsey in the Miami office, and is the Community Manager at GreenForges, an underground farming initiative. He also was a former campaign fellow and worked in affordable housing at Project Destined.
