Devon Triplett

Founder & CEO

UNC Chapel Hill | Goldman Sachs

Passionate about economic mobility in BIPOC communities, Devon founded BTG as a first-semester freshman in college and continues to serve as the Co-Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chairman of the Board.

Devon is a junior at The University of North Carolina where he studies Business Administration on a full academic scholarship. This summer, he will join Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst. Last summer, he interne at McKinsey and Company as a Summer Business Analyst, ultimately with the goal to develop the professional network, problem-solving and structured thinking skills needed to have a profound social impact.

Outside of BTG, Devon works as a Venture Capital Fellow investing exclusively in Harvard and Harvard Business School startups.

Kana Cummings

Chief Strategy Officer

Stanford University | Boston Consulting Group

Kana is a senior at Stanford University studying Sociology, Data Science and Mandarin Chinese. Her interests broadly span food sustainability, racial equity, and global citizenship.

On campus, Kana serves as the Financial Officer for Stanford Food Recovery, co-directs a fellowship promoting cultural inclusivity within the sustainable food movement, and works as an intern at the Stanford Food Institute.

She is a two-time Summer Associate at Boston Consulting Group and will be joining the firm full-time upon graduation. In her free time, Kana enjoys distance running, reading, and experimenting in the kitchen.

Eugenia Trakal

Chief Operating Officer

Arizona State University | Goldman Sachs

​​Eugenia is a sophomore at Arizona State University – Barrett, the Honors College pursuing a Finance on a full-ride merit scholarship. This summer, she will join Goldman Sachs as an Investment Banking Sophomore Summer Analyst. Passionate about financial literacy, FinTech, and investing, Eugenia previously interned at Greycroft, New Enterprise Associates, and Bank of America.

On campus, she serves as the Director of Education for the Arizona Microcredit Initiative, Marketing Chair for the Association of Latino Professionals for America, Business Ambassador for the W.P. Carey School, and Concertmaster of the ASU Symphony.

In her free time, Eugenia loves playing tennis, practicing her violin, and watching futbol (vamos Argentina!).

Alec Zorrilla

Co-Head of BTG NeXus Fund

University of Miami | McKinsey & Company

Alec is studying business analytics and philosophy at the University of Miami. With interests in tech and philosophy, he has experience working in Web3 and is an incoming McKinsey summer business analyst. On campus, he is on the Undergrad Dean’s Advisory Board and the executive boards of the TAMID Consulting Group and Finance Association. As hobbies, he enjoys hosting an NFT podcast and cooking.

Franck Temgoua

Co-Head of BTG NeXus Fund

Duke University | McKinsey and Company

Franck is a sophomore studying computer science and finance at Duke University. As a first generation African-American, he enjoys developing interconnections between multiple industry sectors and cultures in the finance and art space.

On campus, Franck began his university experience starting a high growth streetwear company, and uses his finance background from multiple fractional-CFO and PE companies for innovative resource manufacturing for garments and sustainable clothing. 

At BTG, he is involved in the startup of BTG’s first digital asset fund, and aids in creating BTG merchandise for members. Franck will be an incoming PE/PI summer financial consultant intern at McKinsey and Company.

Cristian Carranza

Co-Head of BTG Finance

Cornell University | Goldman Sachs

​​Cristian is a junior at Cornell University studying Applied Economics and Management with a concentration in Finance. On campus, Cristian serves as a portfolio lead in his finance organization, works with the Undergraduate Admissions Office to increase diversity, and aids in academic research on climate change and portfolio choice.

For his sophomore summer, he interned in leveraged finance at Goldman Sachs within their Investment Banking Division. This upcoming summer, he will be doing Corporate Private Equity at KKR. In his free time, Cristian enjoys lifting weights, playing poker, and spontaneous road trips with friends.

Philena Sun

Co-Head of BTG Finance

Yale University | Goldman Sachs

Philena is a senior at Yale studying Ethics, Politics & Economics, and Statistics & Data Science. Her interests span Web3, state formation, and classical piano.

On campus, she serves as the president of Yale Alternative Investments, the president of a piano duet performance group, and competes with the Yale Fed Challenge team.

Philena most recently worked in investment banking at Goldman Sachs and will be interning in private equity at Blackstone this upcoming summer. In her free time, you might spot Philena listening to a podcast, playing the piano, or trying out a new baking recipe.

Michael Massey

Co-Founder & Board Member

Stanford | Boston Consulting Group

Michael Massey is a junior at Stanford University studying Management Science and Engineering with a minor in Data Science. As an African-American, first generation/low income student, he is passionate about educational equity, Black rights, and technological development.

On campus, he is the VP of Operations for the Stanford chapter of Scholar of Finance and a Research Assistant in the Human Rights department. Michael will begin his second summer as an associate at BCG in the summer of 2022.

In his free time, Michael enjoys spending time with family, watching anime, and playing basketball and ultimate frisbee.

Saray Bedoya

Co-Founder & Board Member

Stanford | Boston Consulting Group

Saray Bedoya is a junior at Stanford University studying International Relations with a minor in Human Rights. She is passionate about educational equity in low-income communities, Black rights and the elimination of forced labor in global supply chains.

On campus, she is the Director of Diversity and Wellness for Stanford Women in Business, VP & Co-founder for the Central American Student Association and Co-founder of the Caribbean Studies Reading Group. Saray currently works as an intern for a cryptocurrency start-up and will work as a BCG associate in the summer of 2022.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, painting, dancing bachata and roller skating.

Ramon Pereira Bonilla

Chief Community Officer

Purdue University | McKinsey & Company

Ramon Pereira Bonilla is a 3rd year at Purdue University Global studying business administration. They are passionate about food sustainability and access to financial literacy in low-income communities.

Ramon was a 2021 McKinsey & Co. Summer Business and will be returning for another summer in 2022. They are also spearheading the social responsibility efforts of Green Forges, an underground farming Agtech startup based in Quebec, by developing partnerships with various US cities to utilize this technology in the fight against food insecurity and promote radical food education.

Outside of these things, Ramon enjoys rock climbing, firearms safety & training, and independent news outlets.

Lance Entsuah

VP of Community

University of Cincinnati | Boston Consulting Group

Lance is a 3rd year at the University of Cincinnati studying Economics with a triple minor in International Business, Entrepreneurship, and Business Law and Ethics. He has a wide array of interests, ranging from business strategy, venture capital, tech/product management, and international business (focusing on the content of Africa).

On campus, Lance serves as the VP of Bearcat Ventures, is a senior analyst for Queen City consulting, and mentors through Business Fellows.

Lance will be at Boston Consulting Group this summer. In his free time he loves working out and being with friends.

Darren Francis

VP of Community

Vanderbilt University | Deloitte

Darren Francis is a junior at Vanderbilt University majoring in Human & Organizational Development with a minor in Data Science.

As someone who is committed to redefining success in the eyes of young Black men in his hometown, New Orleans, and similar communities, he’s spent his time at Vanderbilt pursuing experiences that encourage growth as  a leader and communicator.

On campus, Darren is a tour guide and the community service chair of the National Society of Black Engineers Vanderbilt chapter. He looks to further develop as a problem solver through his experiences in consulting with BTG and Deloitte this upcoming summer.

Brandon Avendano

VP of Pro-bono Consulting Engagements

Brown University | PwC

Brandon is a junior at Brown University studying Sociology and Economics. He was born in Las Vegas and both of his parents are from Mexico.

At Brown, he is in the Economics Departmental Undergraduate Group as a Career Co-Chair, an Associate for the Brown Consulting Club, Marketing Chair for Latinx in Business and Leadership, and a Bonner Fellow. Apart from helping other FGLI students apply to college, he enjoys listening to music, dancing, running, and cooking Mexican cuisine.

This upcoming summer he will be working at PwC’s Strategy& as a Strategy Consulting intern for their Enterprise Strategy & Value Consulting practice at their Los Angeles, California office.

Isabella Richards

VP of Marketing

UCLA | Capital One

 Isabella is a junior at UCLA studying Psychology, Entrepreneurship, and Community Engagement & Social Change. She is passionate about social impact, diversity, equity, and inclusion, and employee-centered leadership.

On campus, Isabella is a Management & Organizations research assistant at the Anderson School of Management, serves as VP of the Society for Human Resource Management at UCLA, and assists a nonprofit through UCLA’s Social Enterprise Academy.

This summer, Isabella will be interning at Capital One as a Human Resources Intern. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, mentoring, and learning cultural dances. 

Anina Dashiell

New York University | Boston Consulting Group

Anina is a sophomore at New York University studying Management, Global Business, and Korean language. 

On campus, Anina serves as the Director of Mentorship of the International Business Association and assists the Business and Society department with sustainability-focused work.

She is an incoming GFL intern at Boston Consulting group and is looking forward to her summer internship in the New York office. In her free time, Anina enjoys weightlifting, dining at trendy restaurants, and traveling to new places.
